A trendsetting contemporary look comes to Eberwhite

The Story

Client Remodeling Goals

Our team opened up the kitchen into the living area in this Eberwhite neighborhood home remodel. This allowed the first floor to feel spacious and more contemporary. It also allowed for more efficient storage space. Our clients chose to keep the original layout but they requested updated cabinetry, countertops, and appliances. The intent was to make the space feel modern and fresh without changing the architecture.

Design Vision

Removing the hanging cabinets that blocked views into the living area made the kitchen feel larger, open and inviting. Dark cabinets were replaced, the size of the kitchen island increased, and countertops were updated to Cambria Quartz, Torquay transformed this space into a modern-style kitchen. Daltile Semi-Gloss Aqua Glow 3x6 subway tile was used to add a complementary accent color. The kitchen flooring is white oak with Bona, early American stain. We custom designed a pantry that doubles as storage for small appliances.
