Arlington Renovation | The Interior Changes

The existing kitchen and traditional eat-in nook with cabinets over peninsula.  The peninsula features the ever popular hanging wall cabinets - which completely cut off the view and conversations between rooms.

The new kitchen layout combines both spaces and creates a central island for gathering and casual eating.  The existing dining room will now be the main room for all "table" dinners.   This kitchen also features a small bump out addition to create the extra space that is needed.

The existing family room with a solid wall between the kitchen.

The new family room features a new archway between the family room and the kitchen.  The family room also features a new coffered ceiling detail and built-in cabinets around the fireplace.
