Our clients fell in love with the natural surroundings of their new location and wanted to maximize views—while creating an inviting and modern open-concept home, perfect for entertaining.
Our clients envisioned a custom home that harmonized seamlessly with its environment more than just aesthetically—they were looking for a more eco-friendly home as well. To achieve this vision, they turned to Forward Design Build Remodel and our proven design-build process for their custom home in Ann Arbor.
The Plan
Nature-Inspired Elegance
Through a collaborative process, we embarked on the journey to create a remarkable home that not only captured the essence of its natural setting but also seamlessly blended modern aesthetics with warm, welcoming spaces for gatherings with friends and family.
Eco-Infused Distinction
Green techniques were used throughout to create improved energy efficiency, but the details are what make this home. The 15-foot custom concrete fireplace, covered deck with motorized screens, and custom walnut sliding door are just a few of the things that make this home unique.
Luxury with a View
In the primary suite, the luxury furnishings face directly toward the sun-lit windows, so that our clients can wake up and take in the view every day and season. The open-concept kitchen features a large island with seating and a built-in bar—all located near the covered deck, making it easy for guests to step outside and enjoy the same gorgeous views our clients also adore. The lower level features its own media area, kitchen area, in-home gym, guest suite, and more!
