Position: CAD Specialist - Residential Remodeling.

Experience: At least 2+ years experience with residential remodeling/construction in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking field measurements and photographs of existing conditions, using scanning equipment to document existing conditions and producing a BIM model.

  • Drafting & development of existing, demolition, and proposed floor plans.

  • Drafting & design of exterior and interior elevations.

  • Detailing & design of building sections and details for construction.

  • Drafting and design for structural and MEP systems.

  • Collaborate directly with the lead designer and architect on high-end remodeling projects.

  • Updating drawings from redlines provided by lead architect's review.

  • Produce final permit and construction drawings for all projects.

  • Work closely with the construction team to implement best assembly practices.

  • Manage and control the company drawing template system.

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge/understanding of local building codes.

  • Ability to visit project sites in person to perform field measures for existing conditions.

  • Proficiency in CAD BIM software, preferably Archicad design software.

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the design and construction teams.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and adapt to project-specific requirements.

  • Ability to commit to deadlines.

  • Must have a valid drivers license. 

  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
