Updating the Primary and Guest Baths at a Downtown Loft in Ann Arbor, MI
The Story
Client Goals
Our clients came to us in search of elegant bathroom updates for their downtown loft.
These bathrooms elevate the loft condo as a whole and infuse a bit of richness and quirk at the same time.
The Existing Conditions
While the layouts of their existing master and guest baths were functional, the fixtures and finishes were seriously outdated.
They'd had their kitchen and living areas refreshed, and needed a couple of chic baths to match.
The Plan
We took design inspiration from their already-hip industrial loft and added a splash of Art Deco style, replacing the old with high-quality fixtures that will last.
Small structural changes made a huge impact for this project.
Contrast
The blue cabinetry contrasts perfectly with shiny copper-gold hardware and fixtures, giving the room a feeling of richness.
Industrial with a Splash of Art Deco
The shower features a grey tile with white hexagonal floor tiles, adding to the Art Deco style.
We carried through the copper-gold into the shower fixtures.
