Job Description

We are looking for the right person to manage our build team, which includes in-house project managers, in-house carpenters, and trade partners.  Our primary goal is a team of engaged and curious people with shared values, that work in a collaborative, fun, and supportive environment.  We know that a happy team produces happy clients and outstanding work. The Production Manager is responsible for the following;

• Continue to Learn and Grow as a Manager and a Leader.

• Manage Project Hand-Off Process from Design to Build

• Oversee all Design-Build Construction Projects

• Manage Individual Project Managers

We are looking for a person with a great attitude, a positive outlook, with an ability to both manage and lead.  We need a min 10 years of experience in residential construction and 5 years of management.   

• Technical skills required include working with electronic Gantt chart schedules, resources reporting in with a  Gantt chart, and construction detail/assembly knowledge. Typing, emails, accurate note-taking, working with a tablet and computer are also very important.  

• Soft skills required include patience, listening, being a good communicator, and practicing a consultative decision-making style. A sense of humor is also appreciated. 

• A minimum of 4 months side by side training with the current Production Manager will be provided, along with ongoing training for 8 months.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

• Must have a valid driver's license.
